Yesterday I told you about the beaches of Tybee Island. I mentioned the lighthouse on North Beach. Well today I’m telling you about the Tybee Island Lighthouse. RCGG Low Country SC and Coastal GA

The Tybee Island Lighthouse rises above Tybee Island guiding ships into Port of Savannah. The Tybee Island lighthouse has been standing strong for over 285 years. It is the largest and longest active lighthouse in the state of Georgia. See the history of the lighthouse here.

You can climb to the top of lighthouse. I’m sure it is a beautiful view from the top!
