Thirty Two Years

32? I don’t feel a day over 22! Age is just a number! I have never had a problem with my age! I view birthdays as a blessing from God! He has given us another year of praising Him!

I try to make my birthday extend as much as I can. This year was no exception. Since it fell on a Sunday this year Mr. RCGG and I did our usual Friday night shopping, but he wanted to get some things that I had asked for that he didn’t know styles of! Like I wanted a new bathing suit and some maxi dresses. I found a really cute bathing suit! It is a tankini top and shorts for the bottom! I’m still looking for the maxi dresses! I haven’t found any that I liked yet!

Usually I don’t make my own birthday cake, but I wanted a special cake this year! The cake I wanted has been a favorite of mine for quite a few years! I hadn’t had it since moving to Georgia and I knew I had to make it! The woman who made it for me before passed away a couple years ago and I know she was watching me make it smiling!

It was so easy to make and I know I will make it again! It got quite a lot of attention on Facebook! I posted a picture of it after it came out of the oven and it practically went viral within my friends list!
It tasted just like I remember Georgia making it! So chocolaty and soft! If you make it let me know what you think!

So as, I said before, age is just a number! Birthdays are a blessing from God that we should live our life to the fullest! I’m looking forward to seeing what He has in store for me in year 32!

  1. I’ve never heard of a Mazola cake but the recipe is very similar to one I have.
HEY where’s the picture? Did you eat it all before taking one? LOL
HAPPY 32!! And I agree, another year is always reason to celebrate, we only get so many here on this earth. May God grant you 32+ wonderful years of memories.
