Lollipop Ghosts

 I made lollipop ghosts last night.

I think they turned out so cute.  I used Tootsie Pops, tissues, a sharpie marker, and yarn.  Tie the tissue around the lollipop and then draw the ghost face on it!  How easy is that? 

I also made these treat bags for our trick-or-treaters. I am going to put the ghosts inside along with a Halloween pencil and eraser, some other candy, possibly some other toy/trinket type stuff.

Are you ready for Halloween?  We bought our pumpkins last night.  We are going to carve them next weekend.   So I will have pictures of that up next weekend. 

Do you have your costumes ready?  I still need to paint the Jack-O-Lantern face on my shirt and then I will be done.  I always came up with creative costumes.  One year I was the toothfairy.  My mom made a pink dress, a crown and a wand for me.  Another year I was Glinda, the good with from Wizard of Oz, my favorite movie.  My dress was made from my bridesmaid dress from my cousin’s wedding earlier in the year.  My mom added some fluff to the skirt and made a crown from a milk jug and put some of those battery operated lights in it.  It was really cool.  Another year she made a Dorothy costume.  This was in seventh grade.  I was 13 then.  I am 28 now and can still wear it.

This picture was from a few years ago.  My mom also made my ruby slippers.  She took a pair of the dyeable shoes and painted them red.  She put red glitter in Mod Podge and painted it onto the red shoes.  My momma can do anything!  She is Awesome! 

I will be starting a Christmas decoration marathon on November 1st.  Every day through November I will put up some DIY Christmas decorations.  Along with some gift ideas.
