No Sew Fleece Blankets… and SPRING!!!

I like making crafts. I scrapbook and make some cards. My cards aren’t as great as others, but I still like making them. These blankets are a no sew project. I can’t sew. I leave that to my mother. These are really easy. I used a yard and a half of fleece, but you can make them with other lengths of fleece as well. This one was the one I made for myself. I love zebra print and pink is my favorite color.

The bottom one I made for N.

To make them you lay two pieces of fleece on top of each other. Then cut five inch squares out of each corner. After that you cut fringe on each side. I cut them about two inches apart and made them five inches long. Then you tie the two pieces together. To do this you tie the bottom piece of fleece to the top piece with a knot.

I really enjoyed making these and I am going to start making other projects like it as well. I have found a scarf. a pet bed, a baby sling, t-shirt and pillow case aprons, a fleece baby ball, ( that I think could also be used as a pet toy) a shoulder wrap, a purse made out of jeans, and a greeting card holder. I will work on some of these and when I have one done I will put it up for you to see.
I am looking forward to Spring. Spring is my favorite season. I love all the flowers blooming. I can’t wait for the warmer weather as well. I hate cold. Another thing that I love about spring… BASEBALL SEASON STARTS!!!!
