I’m making some progress on some monthly blog goals! Every month I make some goals for my blogging! For February, one of those goals was to get some social media links up on my side bar! I found a tutorial on how to do it and I am on my way to having that done! Over the next week I should have them all accounted for! So please excuse the mess of my side bar over the next couple days!
Another goal for this month was to get my blog button up again! I had one when I was over on Blogger, but with the move to WordPress I wanted something new! I have the picture but I can not figure out how to get it cropped to the size I want or the coding for the WordPress. So I hope to get that done this month too! Doing your own HTML is hard when you don’t really know how to do it! =)
Yay! It feels so good to cross off goals from your list! Go you!! If you need help with the button feel free to ask!! Ill help if I can!

Thankfully there are blog tutorials for everything, and basic coding turns out to be really easy once you find a good tutorial. Email me if you want and I can help you with basic coding for social media buttons and your blog button.
Thanks! My brother husband and brother in law know a little bit about HTML coding and they are helping a little with it! I might recruit some outside help soon though!
Some of the things your talking about are why I chose blogger as a first time blogger. Just keep in mind, anything you have a hard time with, I just google How To’s. That’s my secret, hee hee <3 http://www.sweetanddownlow.com #SITSblogging
I found a tutorial on how to do do the social media buttons, but I haven’t started working on getting them put up yet! As for the blog button I can’t get the code to work right so that’s going to take some time!
After I installed the social media icon floating box I found my numbers went up! So worth the time! Good luck!! #SITSBlogging
Good luck! It’s always nice to make goals and be able to accomplish them. I’m a web designer so let me know if you need any help.

WordPress will feel unfamiliar for those first few days (or maybe weeks) but I think in the long run you will like it better than Blogger because you can customize more things, and of course, there’s a plugin for almost anything you want to do. Good luck!
Thanks! I have been on WordPress since September and I’m still learning new things!
I love it when I accomplish something I’ve been meaning to do, but I definitely could do better about doing it timely! #SITSblogging
Great goals! One of mine is to figure out how to edit my blogs HTML so that only a preview of each of my posts shows in my main feed. I found a tutorial and tried to do this last night. Unfortunately I totally screwed up my blog! I cried 🙂 then I figured out how to fix it. But I still don’t know how I’m going to accomplish this goal. I’m scared now!
Good luck with the change. WordPress is pretty easy once you get the hang of it. Plus a lot of the plugins offer tutorials to help you out! #SITSBlogging
Thanks! I have been on WordPress since September, but there are still things I’m learning!
Great idea: to set goals each month. Sometimes I feel like I’m running in circles; maybe I should plan more. I created my blog with jimdo and I’m wondering if I should switch, since everyone seems to be WordPress. I was thinking I would like to add a store down the road (long range goal) and jimdo was highly recommended. I know what you mean about the code; I just got adsense code on it last night but it was pretty much greek to me! I know there are still many other things I need to include, but baby steps! Good luck with your goals!
I’ve found that if I start setting monthly, or even weekly goals for my blog, I actually get things done! Congrats on working through your goals for this month 🙂 #SITSBlogging
