Breast cancer has always been a cause that I have strongly supported for a long time. I would like to start a fundraiser to raise money for breast cancer research. I have a few ideas of things to do. I am starting with a card sale. I will be making cards and have asked several friends to make some as well. I will be taking pictures of everyone’s cards and posting them on myspace and facebook. These will be all occasion cards and will be sold in sets of five. I am not sure of prices yet, but I will continue to think about how to do this.
I am also going to have a bake sale at some point. I love baking and would love to have a breast cancer themed sale. All items would be pink or have pink on them. Pink cookies, cupcakes, cakes, pies. I found some stickers and pencils on ebay that would be perfect to give out to people. I want to be able to raise awareness for this as much as possible. It seems like it goes un-noticed in the world. I mean you do hear about it, but there isn’t a whole lot being done really to find a cure for it.
