Do you have an advent calendar? When I was little my grandma had one the was a banner with a Christmas tree on it. Every day I would put the day’s ornament on the tree. She had stockings with every family members name on it and then other little ornaments to go on it. Then on Christmas Eve I would put the angel on top of the tree. I love today’s decoration. It give a different meaning to the line the stockings were hung by the chimney with care. from the book ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas. This blog is a great source for Christmas decorating. Her idea of using Christmas socks as your advent calendar is so cute that I want to do it for when N and I have our own munchkins. There is also a cute story about her dad and the Christmas socks.
