I have always thought of Memorial Day as being a day to remember all our loved ones who have passed away, not just those who served our country. I know there are people that would probably disagree with me, but that is just what I think. Everyone needs a day to remember loved ones.
This handsome man is my poppy. He served in World War II.
He passed away in 2005, but is still in my heart. He was one the best men in my life. I always remember watching baseball with him when I was little.
His favorite team was the St. Louis Cardinals. I made this scrapbook layout as part of my grandparents album.
