Happy Mother’s Day to all the the women in my life. This is the first year I have not been able to be with my momma on Mother’s Day. I sent her a beautiful arrangement of irises. Her favorite flowers. She got them yesterday after a somewhat bad day. In my last post, I metioned the bad storm that went through Southern Illinois. It is being described as in inland hurricane. Anyways, there was a lot of damage and Momma said that Saturday had been kind of a bad day until they got home from taking my grandma home. They got home and there was a vase sitting on the front porch. It made her day so much better. The damage to the town is insane. I have seen pictures from some of my friends and there are a lot of trees down. i’m just glad they are okay. I will talk to my parents again tomorrow.
