Hey ya’ll! Next Tuesday, I will be starting a link up called The Southern Special with The Household Hero and Spatulas on Parade. Mandy is the author of the blog “The Household Hero“. She covers topics that are common in the life of a mother as she struggles to be the hero of her household by saving time, money and health through recipes, coupon tips and product reviews while mixing in personal stories about her family of four (a 2 year old son and 2 month old daughter). She is a Southern to the core, bore and raised in West Tennessee, went to college in Mississippi, met her husband in Alabama, and then recently relocated to sunny Central Florida!
Dawn writes Spatulas On Parade. It started out as a place to write down recipes for family and friends. Soon it became a passion and grew quicker than she expected. In the beginning it was her creations, revamped recipes and serious desserts. As time has passed she has taken a healthy stand in her life, one she let go for far too long, so the recipes have changed. They are healthier, cleaner and far less dessert/sugar oriented but still a passion. Dawn is a NC girl born and raised now living in South Georgia where everything is battered and deep fried, so my quest for health is a challenge but she’s up for it.
