The beach has always been a favorite place of ours. We love walking along the sand with the waves crashing at our feet. Hilton Head’s beaches are a great place to hang out and relax for the day!

On today’s visit of Coastal Georgia we are stopping at Old Fort Jackson. This is the oldest brick fortification in the state of Georgia. It is a 10 minute drive from downtown Savannah.

River Street is a major part of Savannah. It’s where you can sit and watch the ships going into port, walk along the Savannah River, get a bit to eat or a drink, and shop!
