Use plants to bring a bit of outdoors inside. Plants are said to give off a positive energy. Bringing them into your living area can help keep you calm and in a good mood.

During the recent hurricane we had to bring the chairs in from our balcony. I put them in one of our spare bedrooms along with my plant. I set them up this way just for this post. Haha!

I love candles. If I knew that the cats wouldn’t knock them off tables and counters then we would have them around to make our apartment smell like apple cinnamon.

Instead I use a warmer with scent blocks. There’s so many wonderful scents that you can choose from. You can use your favorite year round or change it up and use a seasonal scent. That’s why I’m using an apple cinnamon block right now! I love the smell of apples and cinnamon together! It’s like you are making an apple pie in your kitchen but not! Haha! Do you have candles or a candle warmer? What is your favorite scent?

You crawl into bed after a long day and and get ready to unwind. I love neutral, calming colors in a bedroom with pops of bright colors!

The colors of our master bedroom are tans, blues, and reds. We have other comforters that we switch out to add a little variety sometimes. I have my teddy bear and baby blanket on our bed at all times. Haha!
