RCGG Fry Sauce

RCGG Fry Sauce is so easy to make. You don’t really need measurements for it because you can make just as much as you need. So if you need a lot you can make a lot or if you need a little make a little.

Ingredients:
Mayonnaise
Brown Sugar BBQ sauce
salt and pepper to taste
pickle juice

Mix the mayo and BBQ sauce and stir until well mixed. Add salt and pepper to your taste. Stir. Pour a big splash of pickle juice and stir well. Store in an airtight container and chill in refrigerator.

Mr. RCGG said it kind of tasted like Chick Fil A sauce and it does! I wasn’t going for a copycat sauce, but that’s how it ended up! Try making this the next time you make chicken or fries. It goes great with anything really!

Sausage and Pepperoni Baked Pasta

I love when really great meals just fall into place. This is what happened when I made this sausage and pepperoni baked pasta. I had leftovers of sausage and pasta from the night before and I wanted to use them up. I added some pepperoni and more pasta sauce before putting it into a baking dish. It turned out so much better than I thought it would. My husband loved it the first time, but said it was even better the second time! I think that might have to do with all the mozzerella cheese that I put on it!

Sausage and pepperoni baked pasta

Ingredients:
1 package Hot Italian sausage cooked and cut into small pieces
1 package pepperoni
1 can diced tomatoes
1 jar Newman’s Own stockoplaooza (or something like that) sauce
1 jar Bertolli Five Cheese pasta sauce
1 box pasta (your choice of variety. I used large elbow macaroni.)
1 1/2 bags of mozzerella cheese

In a skillet, cook the sausage with two or three inches of water. Let them cook until they are browned (around 15 minutes) adding more water if needed. Let cool enough to cut them into small pieces.

Cook pasta according to box directions. Drain and return to pan.

Over medium high heat add tomatoes and pasta sauces. Stir in and let cook for five minutes. Add cut up sausage and half the pepperoni. Add the half bag of mozzerella cheese and stir until combined.

Pour into a 9×13 casserole dish and bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes.

Sprinkle full bag of cheese on top and line with pepperoni. Bake until cheese is melted. About 10 minutes.

Serve with garlic bread and salad if desired!

Hosting A Mother’s Day Brunch

Hosting a Mother’s Day Brunch is something I have always wanted to do! Living 413 miles from my mom makes this a little hard for me to do. It doesn’t matter that my mother isn’t here because my mother in law is a mom too and she needs to be celebrated for everything she has done for me over the years!

mothersdaybrunch

Hosting a  brunch is easy! You can do it by yourself or have a group of friends help you by making it a potluck type of party! I’ll be sharing some great recipes I found as well as some decoration ideas! I hope you enjoy them!

One of my favorite brunch foods is sausage balls. My mom used to make these for Christmas morning and Easter Sunrise breakfast at church. They are so easy to make.

All you need is:
1 package of sausage (mild or hot depending on your taste)
2 cups of Bisquick pancake mix
1 package of shredded cheese

It really is that easy! I used to help her make them when I was growing up so it’s definitely a recipe that the kids can help make.

Breakfast Casserole was also a favorite in my family while I was growing up. My mom also made it for Christmas morning at my grandma’s house. It take a little more prep work than sausage balls, but it’s still pretty easy.

You can also make coffee cakes like this one! I love strawberry and this one sounds absolutely amazing.

I also really loved these cinnamon cream cheese roll ups! They sound so good! You can’t go wrong with cream cheese at all!

Blueberry muffins are always a brunch favorite. I found a different spin on them with this recipe from Cincy Shopper.

You will also need something to drink at your brunch! This raspberry punch sounds perfect and so simple to make!

Take time this Mother’s Day to do something special for you mom! It doesn’t have to be anything like making her a big brunch or buying her a big gift. She’s always been there for you and loves you no matter what! Happy Mother’s Day! IU MOMMA!

Making Your Clipboard Pretty

Making your clipboard pretty is super easy! I made them ALL THE TIME when I was in high school. I’d make them as Christmas and birthday gifts for friends. Even if they didn’t need a new clipboard they were getting one! Haha!

Do you want to make one? Here’s a step by step on making your clipboard :

making your clipboard pretty RCGG

What you need for making your clipboard pretty:
a clipboard
notepad
scrapbook paper
pen
scissors
modge podge
foam brush
stickers (if desired)
washi tape (if desired)
ribbons (if desired)

Instructions:

Trace an outline of the clipboard onto the scrapbook paper and cut out around the line you traced.

making your clipboad pretty RCGG step 1
Using your foam brush spread a thin layer of modge podge onto the clipboard.

making your clipboad pretty RCGG step 2
Position scrapbook paper onto clipboard. There may be air bubbles when you apply the paper to the glue. If this bothers you then try to work them out. If they don’t bother you then you can leave them. I can never get the out but they usually annoy me. You can’t really see them in the finished product. Let dry for 15 minutes.

making your clipboad pretty RCGG step 3
Seal the paper with a few layers of modge podge. I usually do four just to make sure. Let dry for 15 minutes.

making your clipboad note pad RCGG step 4
Add any embellishments to the clipboard. You can use stickers to spell out a name or add washi tape to the clipboard.

I usually don’t add a notepad to my clipboards, but if you would like to add one all you need to do is use a strong glue like E6000 or a hot glue gun and attach the notepad to the clipboard. I don’t do this because if you run out of the pages on the notepad then you have to replace it.

You can add ribbon to the paper holder of the clipboard if you want. I usually don’t, but that’s just my preference.

Let’s Meet Angie’s Angle

I love meeting new blog friends! I participate in a Solidarity Sisters challenge where you are paired with another blogger! For March and April I had the pleasure to get to know Angie! So today,  Meet Angie’s Angle!

Hi, guys! I’m Angie and I’m a lifestyle blogger over at Angie’s Angle. I do a wide variety of topics and giveaways that I like and think my readers might enjoy as well. You’ll find topics such as beauty, pets, games, and photographing just to name a few. I do blogging a full-time job with social media outreach and other random things to earn me money. Quite often you’ll find I talk about those other random things where you can earn online too; if you are interested in that kind of thing.

I’m a wife and a fur baby Mommy to a 9-year-old girl named Roxy. She joined our family when she was 5, but we couldn’t imagine our world without her now. In my spare time when I am not completely linked to my computer (which is most of the time), I love to read, travel, take photos and play any and all type of games. In real life, you’ll find I’m very quiet without not a lot to say until I get really comfortable with you, so the blogging world helps me meet new people and make a living. Win-Win!

Meet Angie's Angle family

I’ve gotten to know Cate by joining the Solidarity Sister Challenge that Susannah runs over at Simple Moments Stick. There are weekly challenges that Susannah sends out and you get to know your partnered blogger for two months, where then at the end you decided how you want to exchange posts or whatever you decided to do together for a post. Cate and I decided this go around we’d just tell each other readers a bit about us and our blog with 5 facts about us and a few of our favorite posts from our blog, so you all may get to know us a bit as well.

5 Completely Random Facts About Me

Because I like board and card games so much, I tend to hoard them and have quite the collection. I love hosting game nights and am slowly find others that do as well and getting a decent group together and hope I can make it more frequent.

I do not like to cook. I hate it and only do it when I without a doubt have to. My husband does most of the cooking and thankfully he is very good at it. Though I do try and throw dinners in the slow cooker quite so dinner is easier. I’ll happy do that kind of “cooking”. Though oddly I love sharing recipes on my blog, they are just few and far between because I enlist my husband’s help to achieve a yummy recipe to share.

One of my happy places is on the ocean. I dream about just sitting on a porch facing the beautiful ocean, drinking my coffee and reading my book. To me that is perfection.

I’ve been with my husband since I was 18 and we met online through a random ICQ message. We met in real life months later in July of 1998 and have been together since. Lived together since 1999 and married 2003. He is my other half and I think we do a good job of balancing each other out.

I’ve always been a reader. I have such a wide variety of types of books that I like, that I’ll never fear running out of something to read. Just take a gander on my book shelves and my kindle library and you’d understand.
