Like I said, I loved all the posts, but one of my favorites happens to be from one of my best blogger friends, Jen from JVKomChronicles. She made the coolest city signs. signsedit3-1024x789I love this and I want to do one with the distances from Atlanta to our favorite beaches! Thanks for sharing Jen!

Another favorite post was from Jenn over at Jenn’s Random Scraps. She shared a recipe for Tater Tot Casserole.

Dawn from Spatulas on Parade

Hi, My name is Dawn and I write Spatulas On Parade. It started out as a place to write down my recipes for family and friends. Soon it became a passion and grew quicker than I expected. In the beginning it was my creations, revamped recipes and serious desserts. As time has passed I have taken a healthy stand in my life, one I let go for far too long, so the recipes have changed. They are healthier, cleaner and far less dessert/sugar oriented but still a passion. I’m a NC girl born and raised now living in South Georgia where everything is battered and deep fried, so my quest for health is a challenge but I’m up for it.

Mandy from The Household Hero

Mandy is the author of the blog “The Household Hero” (www.thehouseholdhero.com). She covers topics that are common in the life of a mother as she struggles to be the hero of her household by saving time, money and health through recipes, coupon tips and product reviews while mixing in personal stories about her family of four (a 2 year old son and 2 month old daughter). She is a Southern to the core, bore and raised in West Tenneesse, went to college in Mississippi, met her husband in Alabama, and then recently relocated to sunny Central Florida!

I love the south! There is just something about it that makes me feel like I should have lived here my whole life! My favorite thing about being in the south is that I am only 4 hours from the beach, my most favorite place in the world! We love going to Jekyll Island GA! I know I talk about it every trip recap I do because that’s mainly where we go! In fact we will be there this weekend! I will be showing off my trip recap for next week’s Southern Special!

Until then I hope you have a great week and I look forward to seeing what you have to share!

Liebster Award

I love discovering new bloggers! Blog friendships may only be online, but sometimes you can find great friends through blogs! I met Dawn over at Spatulas On Parade when she answered a call for link up co hosts I’m starting VERY SOON! (More on that tomorrow) Anyways, she gave me a Liebster Award! Thanks so much Dawn! I am flattered!

Liebster award

Here’s the rules:
List 11 facts about yourself
Answer 11 questions by whoever nominated you
Ask 11 new questions to 9 bloggers with less than 200 followers
do NOT re-nominate the blog that nominated you
Go to their blogs and tell them they have been nominated
HAVE FUN

11 facts about me:
I love planners. Even though I’m not that great at keeping myself organized.
2. I keep a daily journal where I write thoughts and Bible verses throughout the day.
3. My favorite movie is Wizard of Oz. I have loved it since I was 3 years old.
4.I love polka dots! I mean LOVE polka dots. I wish I could have them on everything.
5. My husband and I will have been together for 14 years this October.
6. I love to read. My favorite author is Nora Roberts. I have only found one book that I absolutely hated. That was Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck.
7. I enjoy watching old TV shows along with some of the newer ones. My husband and I watch The Voice on On Demand and How I Met Your Mother on Netflix. We are actually all caught up on that so we are waiting until the current season is on! I have been watching Once Upon a Time on Netflix and I LOVE IT! We also LOVE Duck Dynasty on A&E. Wednesday is the only day I watch that channel!
8. When someone goes on a trip they always get me a key chain. My best friend went on a cruise while we were in high school and she got me a key chain as a souvenir. I still have it and I get one with every trip we go on.
9. I love spicy food even though I shouldn’t eat it. I have acid reflux and I get really sick after I eat something spicy. SO I don’t eat a lot of spicy foods. I also get sick if I sleep flat on my back.
10. I want to make a gallery wall in our bedroom! I still need to get our wedding picture printed and into our guest book signature mat.
11. My favorite male celebrities are Matthew McConahuey, Joshua Jackson, and Colin Farrell! My favorite actress is Mila Kunis!

What type of blog do you have? Random Crafty Georgia Girl is basically a lifestyle blog! I show crafts I have done, but the majority of the time is the randoms on my life!
What is the best thing about blogging? I think the best thing about blogging is the sense of community. I have made so many blogging friends that have become more than blogging friends. They have become friends!
If married, does your spouse support your blogging? My husband, Mr. RCGG, is very supportive of my blogging. He always tries to help me with anything I need to do for the blog and goes with whatever crazy ideas I have for projects.
What state were you born in? I was born in Illinois.
How many states have you lived in? I moved to Georgia in 2008 and before that I lived in Illinois for almost 26 years.
Name something you are afraid of: I am afraid of the dark! Yes I am in my 30’s and afraid of the dark.
What is the one food you could not or would not want to live without? Frozen burritos. They are the first thing I want to eat after I have been sick.
Name one food you can not eat you hate it so much you gag? I refuse to eat green beans.
Favorite time of year? and why? I love the summer. I’m not a huge fan of the heat, but take me to the beach and everything is great! Also baseball!
Did you attend college and if so, were you a party animal? I went to a community college. I didn’t party.
Favorite sport, college or pro: My favorite sport is baseball if you haven’t been able to tell yet! haha! I was raised a St. Louis Cardinals fan, but always loved the Atlanta Braves. The Braves were the first pro game I went to. I am a big Indianapolis Colts football fan! For our first anniversary my husband surprised me with tickets to my first football game.

Here’s my questions:
If you could own one wild animal what animal would you have?
Do you follow politics?
What has been your favorite vacation?
Has Spring come to your area yet?
Do you remember your grandparents or your great grandparents?
Do you like to read? What is your favorite genre of book?
How many siblings do you have?
Does your pet sleep with you?
What is your favorite color?
Do you have to leave early for work so you can avoid traffic?
Have you ever been involved in a major car accident? Were you hurt? Are you okay now?

I know the rules say I’m supposed to give this to 9 bloggers, but I can only think of a few bloggers that have less than 200 followers. (I went with bloglovin followers since that is what I use to follow blogs.)

Anyways, I would like to give this award to :
