Today’s guest post is from Adrienne who blogs over at La Vita e Bella! She has been one of my best blog friends for awhile! She’s sharing a recipe for Sea Salt Fudge!
Hi!
Around the holidays, there is such hustle and bustle with holiday parties, teacher gifts, neighbor gifts and of course having plenty of delicious food around your own home.
Keeping up a social calendar during this busy holiday season can be daunting enough and adding on the layer of multiple hostess gifts can make that even more daunting.
That’s why years ago I decided the easiest thing to do was to make one or two things and give it to everyone.
After all food is love.
After scouring Pinterest for ideas, I stumbled upon a recipe for Nutella & Salt Sea Fudge.
Besides being tasty, it is super easy!
You’ll Need:
Directions:
1. Grease the bottom and sides of an 8- by 8-inch baking pan with butter.
2. Line the pan with parchment paper, leaving a 2-inch overlap on the sides.
3. In a medium glass or stainless steel bowl, combine butter and sweetened condensed milk and add vanilla extract, chocolate chips and Nutella.
4. Stir with a spatula, the mixture should be thick.
5. Create a double-broiler by setting the bowl over a medium pot of simmering water. Stir until the chocolate chips are melted and the mixture is smooth, about 5 to 7 minutes.
6. Scrape the mixture into the prepared pan and spread the top smooth with a spatula.
7. Sprinkle the fudge with sea salt. Refrigerate until the fudge is firm, at least 2 hours.
Wait TWO LONG hours.
Cut the fudge into 3/4-inch squares. Store in the refrigerator in an airtight container or wrapped well in plastic wrap and foil.
Enjoy!
Thanks so much for sharing this recipe with my readers today Adrienne!

Thanks again Mandy for everything you have helped me with over the past year! You are such a great blog mentor to me!
I love decorating for Christmas! There is just something about it that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy! Some of my favorite Christmas decorations are nativities! I love the meaning of Christmas and what better way to show it than a nativity scene! Last year I started a tradition of getting one every year and this year I ended up getting two! I haven’t gotten pictures of the two I got this year yet, but I will by the end of the season! Another of my favorite Christmas decorations is the Christmas tree! I love seeing the lights and the ornaments all on the tree! There is just something magical about seeing the tree on Christmas morning with the beautiful gifts all wrapped and under the tree!
Some of the best movies come on around the holidays! I always loved watching Christmas specials when I was a kid! It always seemed like when they would come on it was officially time for Christmas.
Here are some of my favorites:
Do you watch Christmas movies? What are some of your favorites?
Saturday night I made my first meatloaf. The recipe I used for Paula Deen’s daughter in law, Brooke’s recipe.
Mr. RCGG enjoyed it very much! I don’t have any pictures because I don’t think about taking any food prep pictures until it is too late!
Here’s the recipe:

With the holidays officially kicked off I am sharing some favorite recipes, decorations, and family traditions of other bloggers as well as some of my favorites! Mine will be scattered throughout the month of December and guest posts will be every Friday until after Christmas! I hope you enjoy this series as much as I have enjoyed working with these wonderful ladies who will be guest posting for me!
I’m starting off my Holiday series this year with a guest post from Heather! She blogs over at From Here to There! Heather is sharing a recipe for Almond Clusters! While I was reading her post before publishing it I realized I have made these before, but with peanuts instead of almonds! Thanks for sharing your recipe with us Heather! Have a great holiday season! =)
Sometimes we need a little help keeping Christmas organized! One of my best blog friends, Jen, has created some free Christmas organization printables! She has everything from a blank calendar to an advent activity calendar. This year she has created Elf on the Shelf stationary so your little elves can write notes to your kids.
I love everything Jen creates and I know I will be using these for many years to come! You can get her free printable sheets by going to her shop blog.
Today I am sharing one of my favorite Thanksgiving recipes with you! This is my mom’s Thanksgiving Stuffing. I always helped her make it when I was little. I would toast and tear up the bread. One year I actually helped her make it. I am making it this year for the first time by myself and I admit I am a little scared! I know I can do it though and I know it will be great!

I have the amount of bread listed as 6-8 loaves because that is what my mom gave me. She told me that you can use less bread. I’m using three loaves. Also there is no particular amount to cook. Everything is already cooked besides the eggs! Usually about 45-60 minutes, but keep a very careful eye on it. When the top starts to look brown is when it is done.
