{one} have you ever been stuck in an elevator?
No. I hate elevators.
{two} have you ever ridden on an elephant?
Yes. I went to a circus with my cousin when we were little. It was cool.
{three} have you ever met a well known celebrity?
{four} do you have any food allergies?
No.
{five} do you know how to sew?
Kind of. I can hand sew. I have a sewing machine that my parents got me for my birthday last year. I would like to use it but I don’t have anywhere to put it right now.
{six} did you get an allowance when you were young?
Yes. I think I got $10 when I was younger and then in high school I got $40 for two weeks. It was basically for lunch at school.
{seven} how often do you fill up your gas tank?
N does our driving. I think he fills up the tank once or twice a week.
{eight} have you ever been stung by a jelly fish?
No.
{nine} have you ever been robbed?
No
{ten} what is the worst haircut you’ve ever had?
When I was little, maybe first or second grade, I had my hair really really short. It was cute on me then, but I don’t think I could pull it off now. Looking back at pictures I don’t like it now.
Day 22- What makes you different from everyone else
I think what makes me different from everyone is that I have two high school diplomas from my high school. When I graduated in 2001, my diploma envelope had a note in it that said another diploma had been ordered because the printing company messed up my middle name. They spelled my middle name wrong. The school secertary caught it and ordered a new one. She had it spelled right when she sent the printing order to the company. They were the ones that messed up.
1. Do you plant a garden or flowers, or neither?
Neither. I can’t keep things alive besides animals.
2. Does it bother you to have your blinds or curtains
open after dark so people can see in your house?
No. We usually close the blinds/curtains because it is getting dark.
3. Do you like to go camping?
No.
4. Do you have a laptop or a desk top computer?
Yes. laptop.
5. What time during the day do you have your most energy?
No idea. never thought about that. Maybe around 6 pm
Day 21- A picture of something that makes you happy
These little faces make me happy. I love hearing them purr.
Day 19- Nicknames you have; why do you have them
Well my name Cate is a nickname from my full name.
N calls me babe, baby, Catie.
Daddy calls me Jose. He said when I was little that every other little girl is princess or kitten or something like that. He calls me Jose. It is an orginal nickname from my daddy.
Momma calls me baby. Sometimes she calls me Uglybaby. I had a doctor’s appointment one time and we were going in and she called me her good baby. I thought she said ugly baby and it has kind of stuck.
My poppy called me puppy dog or pumpernickel. When he died I went and got a little stuffed dog to put in his casket with him. Don’t tell the other grandkids, but I was his favorite.
Day 18- Plans/dreams/goals you have
I hope to open a bakery someday. I love baking.
1. What is your favorite Easter tradition?
When I lived with my parents I loved our church’s sunrise service. Okay, maybe not when I was little, and not the whole getting up at 5:30 AM. I loved the service at church in itself. Knowing that at that time you were at church Jesus was rising from his death and leaving the tomb gave me chills.
2. Are you a “shower” or a “long, hot bath” kind of person?
I take showers, but a long hot bath is very relaxing.
3. Can you parallel park and if so when is the last time you did it?
No, I can’t. Didn’t even learn in Driver’s Ed.
4. What is your favorite Easter candy?
Cadbury Creme Eggs.
5. Easter: do you go all out with the Easter Bunny or focus on the religious part of the holiday?
Both. My grandma always made a cross cake for dessert after Easter dinner. The Easter Bunnt hid our baskets and eggs at my house and her house. My aunt brought over a basket of goodies that he left at her house for me too.
