{one} what is one food that, as an adult you love, but as a child you said you’d never touch?

Probably salads.

{two} did you go to college? if yes, what was your major?

I did go to college, but I didn’t finish.  I was a secondary education major.  I hate math and that’s what stopped me from finishing.

{three} what’s the most wild animal you’ve seen in real life (not counting the zoo)?

A fox.  They are always running across the roads around our house.

{four} have you ever been to a fortune teller?

{five} can you juggle?

no

{six} hardwood floors or carpet?

Hardwoods

{seven} is it called “soda” or “pop”?

Soda.

{eight} what was your first car?

a dodge neon

{nine} what is the most decadent dessert you’ve ever eaten?

Strawberry shortcake. 

{ten} how often do you rearrange your furniture?

I think we have moved furniture in our room once.

Crafty Tuesday 4/5/11

I’m sitting here writing this on a horribly stormy  Monday night hoping that the power doesn’t go out.  I don’t mind storms, but add the word tornado to the mix and I am scared to death.  I think that has to do with the fact that I grew up about four blocks from a tornado siren. 

Anyways,  are you ready for some awesome crafts?

The first one is one that I found and sent to my mother immediately.  She loves flamingos and the next day she went out and bought the supplies to make it.  It is this flamingo head mounted trophy.

This next idea comes from While He was Napping.  She made a memo board for her sister’s birthday.  It is painfully easy.

Meet Me on Monday 4/4/11

1. If you had to eat only one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Tough question.  I would have to say potato chips.  I gave them up for Lent so the day after Easter I am opening the bag of Lay’s Cheddar and Sour Cream chips.

2. Do you write your blog posts in advance or the day you post them?
It depends on the day.  Usually I have my Crafty Tuesday written up in advance.  Any other post I just publish it as soon as I am done writing it.

3. Have you ever ridden in an ambulance?
no

4. What is your favorite candle scent?
Oh.. Another tough question.  I love candles.  I would have to say the apple scents are my favorite.  Not the apple cinnamon.  Just apple.

5. Coffee or tea
Easiest question of the day. Tea.  I don’t like coffee.  AT ALL!!!

5 Q Friday 4/1/11

1. Have you ever had surgery?
I have had an ingrown toenail cut out a few times.  The first time it hurt so bad because the doctor doing it didn’t put enough of the medicine shot into my toe. He was a retired army doctor and said that they would cut the toenail out and send the solider back out.  The next couple of times I asked my mom if the doctor had started yet.  She told me that he was done. I didn’t feel it at all.  I have also had stitches in my hand.

2. Ever ride in an ambulance?
No.

3. How are you in a medical emergency? Panicked? Calm?
It depends on the medical emergency.  

4. Do you have a garden? Flowers or veggies?
No. 

5. When did you move out of your parents house?
June 30, 2008  I was 25 almost 26.  I moved from Illinois to Georgia with my fiancée and his family.

MLB Opening Day

Today is baseball’s opening day!  In Atlanta we have to wait until April 8th for our home opener.  N and I will be the game on April 15th against the Mets and the April 29th game against the Cardinals. I love this game!

Car Show is coming!

Well, It is that time of year again.  Saturday starts the car show here in our town.  I love seeing the old cars and hanging out in our historic downtown.  It is so much fun.
